        Mrs. Beth Borst, Second Grade

I have been teaching at St. Joseph School since 2004. When I am not teaching I am usually involved with children. I have many cousins and many of my friends have children. I love spending time and babysitting them. In 1996, I started teaching swimming lessons to people of all ages and I am still doing it. Teaching swimming lessons is something I enjoy doing during the summer months.

I believe education is a special journey that every child undergoes and it excites me that I am able to participate in this faith-filled journey. I am able to encourage the hopes and dreams of younger generations. In my classroom, the students are treated as equals and responsibility is expected. Teaching at a Catholic School is a rewarding career path for me. I like knowing that the students are here to learn about God and I can teach about Catholic beliefs openly. I like to link Religion with the other subjects in my class.

I am very fortunate to be teaching at St. Joseph School. The staff is exceptionally helpful, caring, sincere, and dependable. The parents are very involved and supportive. The students are intelligent and genuine. There is no place I would rather be!
