Hi, my name is Deana Gorecki and I am the
kindergarten teacher here at St. Joseph School. I am very excited to be
teaching kindergarten again, and St. Joseph school is a great place to
be with a great staff and wonderful and helpful families.
Upon graduation from UW-Stout in 1990 I moved to
Manitowoc, Wisconsin where I taught kindergarten for two years. We
then moved to Pewaukee, Wisconsin where I had a wonderful opportunity
teaching kindergarten for eight years in the area.
After ten years of teaching I decided to be home
with my children. My husband, Jim and I have three sons,
Christian, Carson and Cooper. In 2006-2007 I decided to get back into
the classroom, by teaching in the preschool at St. Joseph School as well
as teaching pre-kindergarten for the Menomonie School District over the
summer. And now in the kindergarten room for my third year. St. Joseph
School has been a wonderful place for me to begin again. I am very
thankful to be here and thank you for all of your support!
My passion is to provide young children with
opportunities to enhance their young minds to their fullest potential.
I also recognize that there are individual rates of development and
learning across any age range. It is a wonderful experience to help
children meet developmental goals as well as learn in a Christian
environment.
