Mrs. Lutz Philosophy
My philosophy of teaching is based on treating every
child with dignity and respect. I have high expectations for every child
and believe that each one has something special to contribute to class. I
believe school is more than teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic. It
is a place where a child learns to socialize, respect others, learn
Christian values, and learn to be responsible. I want my students to know
that it is OK to make mistakes but they need to be accountable for their
actions. It is easy to blame someone else but to accept responsibility can
be difficult for some children. If a serious problem arises, it is
essential to have open lines of communication with the parents, teacher and
principal. As a team, we need to work together.
