Saint Joseph’s is a wonderful place to be! I feel
fortunate to get to spend my days with your children. They are all
unique and have many God given gifts to share and offer us. The
fantastic staff, wonderful families, and great kids make it a truly
special place.
I grew up on a dairy farm in central Wisconsin with
my parents and four sisters. I attended Saint Patrick’s in Mauston,
where my Mom was (and still is) a teacher. Education is a family
tradition in many ways. I have two sisters who are principals, and two,
along with my mother, who are teachers. Sadly, I lost my father when I
was only 21 and miss him dearly.
After graduating from Marquette University, I was a
teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools for five years. Marriage and a job
transfer for my husband brought me to northwest Wisconsin and I have
been here since 2001. I was fortunate enough to have my first teaching
here to be at Saint Joe’s. Fifth grade was exciting and rewarding.
At the same time, I earned my Master’s Degree in Education from Viterbo
University.
Since then I have started a family and was blessed
to be home with my children for 2 years. My husband Brad and my three
children bring me joy and happiness. They are the light of my life and
my gift to the world.
That said, I love to cook, bake, read, and do just
about anything with my family. I love movies, school, and spending time
with my family and friends. I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter,
aunt, niece, granddaughter, teacher, student, and principal. I find
strength in my faith and family and love having the privilege of being a
part of the Saint Joseph Family.
