Anointing of the Sick
About the Sacrament
Anointing conveys God’s grace to the recipient, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Persons can be anointed more than once, so long as their condition has declined since their last anointing or they recover and then become sick again.

"By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ."
-Catechism of the Catholic Church 1499
Anointing Masses
St. Joseph's offers two anointing Masses each year. Keep an eye on the calendar for upcoming Masses.
