Advent reminds us that Jesus is the promised savior that comes to us at Christmas.
Christmas:
The Gifts We Bring
The Magi recognized that Jesus was not only King of the Jews, but of the entire world.
Lent:
A Time of Preparation
Lent is a season in which we prepare for the renewal of our baptismal promises at Easter.
Easter:
Meeting the Risen Jesus
Jesus is present at every Eucharist, just as he was with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus.
Pentecost:
Strengthened by the Spirit
The Holy Spirit empowered Jesus' followers to go out, preach the Good News, and baptize people.
Ordinary Time:
Jesus' Life and Teachings
Jesus healed the sick, fed the crowds of hungry people, and forgave sins.
